Sowing the earth with seeds...
The 21st century is the turning point of major challenges for men's fulfillment, especially concerning environment.
The importance and complexity of these problems create for most of the people the feeling of being powerless or helpless, since they let others (governments, institutions...) deal with the responsibilities of choosing and deciding how to solve these environmental challenges.
Nevertheless, some men and women have succeeded in overstepping this, and they currently fight for the preservation of environment. Most of the time they have taken great risks for their own lives to initiate and develop relevant and important answers for their country.

A constat: The examples of positive and concrete initiatives to protect Environment are not broadcast enough through public opinion and those which are widely broadcast are not the most relevant.
A mission : I want to show that we can have a protected world, whose development would be sustainable, by magnifying important struggles for the conservation of environment and by pointing at the men and women who have dedicated their lives to that goal.
Means: I'm going to travel all around the world to meet these relevant initiatives and to draw meaningful portraits. 35 men and women have been chosen thanks to the help of the Goldman Foundation, which awards the Goldman Environmental Prize, the world's largest prize honoring grassroots environmentalists.
Goals:
1)To convince people that a protected and sustainable world can be imagined and can be built
2)To contribute to improve the situation: I want people to be aware of environmental problems by providing relevant testimonies on the importance of the protection of the environment as well as initiatives which will be a credible and viable answer to these questions
3)To educate in order to motivate people to get committed, and join up this cause in their own way to become someone who « makes things move on ».
